SEQURE SECRETS: INTERIOR DESIGN INSPIRATION
Once you’ve bought your property, it’s time to release your inner interior designer, but what is it that inspires you? Your interests and creative flair will be completely different to your neighbours or anyone else’s for that matter. So, what’s your style? We’ve grouped together our favourites at the moment, but let us know what you think and maybe give us some inspiration too!
Scandinavian
For lovers of simplicity, Scandanavian design pays homage to the Nordic “simpler” way of life. From all-white colour palettes and bright plastics, to pops of colour and a single piece of furniture, this quirky interior design is extremely popular in new build Spanish properties at present. There’s a huge European and Scandinavian influence in the Costa del Sol property market at present, with many foreign investors choosing to develop in places like La Cala de Mijas, and their sophisticated, contemporary culture has seeped into property designs.
Transitional
If you’re on the fence about which style to choose from, transitional could be the one for you. Borrowing from both traditional and modern designs, this style incorporates both and therefore isn’t overpoweringly one or the other, creating a sense of unexpected balance. Expect steel and glass blended with lavish furnishings and calming fusions of neutral colours, creating a sleek and stylish living environment.
Industrial
Drawing on inspiration from industrial style warehouses and the urban environment, this style features exposed brick and wood and a sense of “unfinished” rawness, double height ceilings, and suspended feature lights with a few splashes of colour and abstract art.

Can’t see what you’re after?
